Antioxidant and Toning
Antioxidant rich Goji berries assist in protecting the skin from free-radicals. The juice is both stimulating and toning on the skin.
Goji berries have been used in Chinese medicine for more than 6,000 years. When ingested these shrivelled red berries are reported to assist in boosting the immune system and brain activity.
Goji berries are also known as wolfberries, and are a fruit of the Lycium barbarum and Lycium chinense, relaxed to the nightshade family which also includes the potato, tomato and chili pepper. Both species are native to Asia and produce a bright orange-red berry 1-2cm in diameter. The berries ripen from July to October.
You will find goji berry juice in Rose Jam shower gel and Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner, which share the same fragrance and similar benefits for the skin. Therefore they can form part of a complementary routine in the shower or bath.
